St. Paul’s Weekday Nursery School, located in Bedford, Massachusetts serves children 2.9 years to 6 years old and is a secular Preschool where children learn through play and exploration, which is the child’s work. Our philosophy of early education is rooted in the benefits and lessons that a play-based curriculum offers to young children. We believe that learning through both facilitated and organic play during early childhood is essential preparation both for school and for life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The curriculum is designed to foster a child’s natural curiosity and imagination. In a warm and caring environment, we encourage children to question, to articulate feelings, to experiment with various methods of problem solving, to empathize with others, and to develop self-help skills. Pre-reading and pre-math skills are developed through facilitated activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
